History
The first nucleus of the structure is the Palazzo Tower from the end of the 13th century, which was built as a country residence. A century later, the Tower was equipped with a balcony, and two more bodies were added to the west and south with perimeter walls forming a quadrangular inner courtyard: it thus became an important fortress for the defence of the Gubbio territory.
