The Cinque Terre

LIGURIA

The Cinque Terre is a small region on the Ligurian coast of Italy. It is a stretch of five villages all interconnected and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its unique beauty and the increasing number of tourists visiting this destination each year.

The five villages are Riomaggiore, Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia and Manarola. The first four of these villages are some of the most picturesque villages in all of Italy and among the most beautiful villages in Europe. The fifth village is the only one that does not have a beach but still has much to offer its visitors.

The Cinque Terre are a unmissable destination if you want to enjoy breathtaking views and experience what the Italian coast has to offer. It is also an excellent place for hiking, cycling, wine tasting and fresh fish dishes in local restaurants with spectacular views of the vineyards below.
